are the lasers from industrial photo eyes dangerous?

I am asking because the way these photo eyes are set up, they point at a reflector (the relector resembles a white bicycle reflector)

Most units use very low power light source whether it is incandescent, LED, laser diode or something else. The risk to your eyes is nil even if you were to lay down and look directly into the beam, much less getting close to looking in the retroreflector (bike looking thing) since to get the full reflection you would have to pose with the beam going by the edge of your face, since any closer would block the beam.
There may be some higher powered laser units but they would be used to bounce off of multiple mirrors at the corners of a site and even that can be done with low enough power as to require tens of seconds direct exposure.
And your eyes are the most sensitive - none of these will do stuff to your skin or gonads.
