I need to install a thermostatic mixer shower to replace an existing electric shower a few questions.
Can I fit the Mixer Shower Vertically or must be Horizontal like in all the DIY Shop displays, I have limited wall space behind the shower cubicle.
How do i drill through existing ceramic tiles for the pipe work which will be in a different location.
It will be plumbed to a combi boiler (not being done by me) but I want to get the shower mixer to cut down on install costs.
hi tony ..you must get a combi suitable shower mixer ..no mechanical reason why it cant go vertical ..to drill the tiles either a special tile drill bit ...best are the diamond tipped ..ot a normal masonry drill ..BUT the hammer must be OFF....not sure if you are gonna save money though
