Black Spiral

I know there's a supermassive black hole in the middle of our galaxy as well as every other major one. Is the galaxy spinning because of this black hole?
Obviously the black hole's gravity is barely felt in the spiral arms tens of thousands of light years away from it, but its gravity is very strong in the central bulge, causing it to spin, which then makes the spiral arms spin, so it's like a chain reaction... Is any of that at least partially correct?
the milky way's central black hole amounts to about a millionth of the mass of the galaxy. it has only a small effect on galactic dynamics, although some galaxies have much more massive central black holes and are significantly affected by them.
